Well Andrea, it’s funny you mention the group’s name. They got it when Butch Vig, founder of this group (and the guy who produced “Nevermind” by Nirvana) played a demo of his new group’s music to his friends. One of them said that it sounded like garbage.Vig decided he had the perfect name. About 14 million people have disagreed with that friend’s opinion so far.

I think that the name is something strategical and beautiful . I’m proud to say I love Garbage! But stupid people that don’t know them may think : “their name is garbage , why should I listen to them?” And this is perfect! Because as long as these people are not music lovers or they aren’t even people with brains , they must stay away from our Garbage!
